Ronald & Christine Jabalee

Ronald and Christine Jabalee were the owners of RJ Meats in Detroit, MI. Their bodies were found in the garage of their home in the city of New Baltimore, Macomb County, MI, on October 7, 2006. Both had been beaten and stabbed. One of the victims left a message that appeared to be the letters “s, c, e, i, j, g, or d” written in blood underneath a vehicle.

A lawsuit was filed in January 2009 by Monumental Life Insurance Company in Macomb County Circuit Court in Mount Clemens, MI, regarding payout of the Jabalees’ policies because police have indicated that one or more of their immediate family had not been ruled out as suspects in the murders.

On June 26, 2009, Ronald Jabalee Jr ., son of Christine and Ronald Jabalee Sr. was arrested and charged with the murder of his parents.

Update

Ronald Jabalee, Jr., was released and acquitted of his parents’ death in October of 2010.  The case remains active and police are seeking leads.
