Kellie Marie Brownlee
On the morning of May 20, 1982, Kellie and her boyfriend rode the bus to school, but Kellie didn’t attend classes. Instead, she hitchhiked to the Twelve Oaks mall in Novi, MI, to put in applications for summer employment. Around 11 a.m., Kellie spoke with the mother of one of her friends, who offered her a ride home, but Kellie refused, intending to fill out more job applications. That was the last time Kellie was seen.
Kellie’s boyfriend was ruled out as a suspect, but the stepfather became a person of interest. Her stepfather, who is now deceased, denied having anything to do with Kellie’s disappearance.
Foul play is suspected in this case.
